In our family Mother‘s Day is bittersweet. My husband and I lost our mothers well over 20 years ago within a year of each other. It took some time to learn there is a whole kaleidoscope of mother love and styles. There are child mothers, childless mothers, stepmoms, dog and cat moms, Mother-in-law moms, grandmothers, and many more forms of love that we feel from the women in our lives. To all of the women in my life, I wish you a happy and meaningful Mother’s Day!
